Buchanan County Public Schools is proud to nominate Hurley High School Building Engineer Brian Davis for the 2023 RISE Award. Davis regularly goes above and beyond the call of duty to serve the students and staff of Hurley High School each day. Davis not only works as the school’s building engineer, but he also serves as a coach and mentor to students at Hurley High. Recently, his heroic actions and his willingness to risk his own safety during a devastating fire at Hurley High School helped save the school from being a complete loss. Davis’s positive attitude and willingness to serve truly represent the values of our school system, and we are honored to recognize him for all that he does for our students and staff.
